You Don’t Have To Respect Your Elders

Just because someone’s older than you and more experienced that does not mean they’re right.  But chances are you’re not going to be able to convince them of this, you’re going to have to go your own way, do it by yourself.  Good Luck!

Street furniture

It’s said that you could furnish a flat with the stuff that’s left abandoned on Glasgow streets. We call it wombling. Reuse, repurpose, recycle.

File this note, left on a chest of drawers outside a house i pass every day
under the-joys-of-having-neighbours, reads-like-the-back-of-a-toilet-door, and gee,I-never-knew-furniture-had-a-sexuality.

True dat.

First thing I do in the morning is read the paper. Well, news app. But it’s all just so sad today. No light nor joy, not even anger. Just despair, and an overwhelming sense of a loss of control.

Which Sara are you looking for?

This is a personal blog, as they say.  I mean, it’s in the public domain, but it’s mostly personal stuff.  Photos, occasional opinion pieces, that kind of thing.  Ever since the demise of LJ there’s been no real need to bear my soul on the internet, this is just for stuff I file under “other”.
